What's Included

For £50/month, your podcast is fully taken care of behind the scenes — we provide the hosting, manage your show, edit your episodes recorded in our studio, and distribute them to the major platforms like Spotify, Audible, YouTube and Apple Podcasts. You’ll also get access to the members-only portal where you can book studio time, work through podcast training courses, and see upcoming members-only events.

Studio Time

When you’re ready to record new episodes, you simply book studio time at Howell Studios at £150 per hour, at a time that suits your diary. This gives you total flexibility: you can record weekly, monthly, or batch record several episodes in one session — even book longer blocks or full days when you want to get ahead — and then pause recording for a few weeks while your podcast stays professionally managed.

How many hours do I need to book for each recording?

This really depends on how much content you want to batch up! We'd recommend for every 20-40 minute podcast episode, 1 hour of studio time is about right. If you want to record multiple episodes, or your episodes are over an hour each, apply this same method as you plan your booking.

What if I can't record for a few weeks?

We know that things can get really busy, or other stuff gets in the way. If you know you have a packed few weeks coming up, we'd recommend batch-recording your episodes in advance, so they get scheduled out as normal. If you're out of action unexpectedly, just let us know and we can work with you to make sure the podcast keeps rolling.

What about editing time?

Thanks to our cool in-house production system, a lot of the editing of your podcast is done live, as you're recording! If there are additional revisions, snippets, or rerecords required, this is charged at our standard Studio hourly rate.

What if I have guests coming?

We love guests! When you book your Studio time, you can let us know how many guests are on each recording and we can work with that. We can host a maximum of 4 people at a time (i.e. one host, three guests etc). The space is yours to host your guests - if you'd like time to chill with a coffee before or after your recording, just factor this time in while booking your slot.

Do I get my own custom background?

When you join as a member, we give you a choice of awesome background designs from our catalogue, which you're welcome to lightly customise (colours, logos etc). If you want a fully bespoke background or an immersive video space, this will be costed accordingly.
